Rama II is at its slowest from about 14:00 to 20:00. Leave Bangkok before lunch if you can.

Everyone drives back to Bangkok. For a 21:00 flight from Suvarnabhumi, leave Hua Hin around 13:30 on a Sunday, or about 14:30 on a weekday.

How long does the drive take?
About 3 to 3½ hours from Suvarnabhumi, 3 to 4 hours from Don Mueang and 2½ to 3 hours from central Bangkok. Friday afternoons southbound and Sunday afternoons northbound are slower.
Where does the driver meet me at the airport?
At Suvarnabhumi on Level 4 (Departures) by Gate 4; at Don Mueang on Level 3 (Departures). The driver's name, photo and plate reach you before the trip.
What if my flight is late?
Give your flight number when you book. A person checks it before the driver sets off, and the 60 free waiting minutes start when you land.
How do I pay?
In Thai baht cash to the driver at the end of the trip. Nothing is charged when you book and there is no deposit. If you can only pay by card, for example because you have not changed money yet, message us on WhatsApp or LINE and we send a PayPal payment link; a 5% fee is added.

Yes, and back at the same fare: ฿2,000 by sedan, ฿2,300 by SUV and ฿2,800 by van. It is about 140 km, about 2¼ hours. It is a morning market, so go early; boats at the market are not part of the fare.
